Hi! I’ve been playing the Volf challenge on BGA and was trying (as everyone around) to get to the top 10.
Yesterday I managed to reach 200 points, just placing me 11th place, 4 points below the 10th, and today was on all my mood to grind my soul off to ensure a spot into the top 10, but as I checked, the BGA version came back to Alpha, and with it, there isn’t an opportunity to get more points in the short term.
I’m kinda bummed because I really wanted to do my best today to get as much points as possible.
It will be back soon, or I just lost my opportunity

Hi, @Tinker ! We understand your concern and we’re sorry the challenge didn’t end up as you expected.
Here is what you might have missed during the final days.
The community managers of BGA notified us about an important moderation overload for the Volfyirion Guilds game.
Our team is constantly working on bug fixing and improvements to the game’s adaptation, however, it is important to remark that the game is still in its BETA version, so bugs are unfortunately part of the contest.
Furthermore, BGA community managers have noticed that people had created multiple accounts to try to climb the rankings by cheating.
It has been inevitable to close the BETA earlier, as requested by the BGA moderators, and we notified our backers through the comments section of Kickstarter as fast as we could.
However, the “top 10” backers were nominated between a wide range of top ranking players (around the first 50 in the list). We had to exclude names that had been flagged as duplicates by the BGA community managers and, of course, names not related to backers.
Simply put, a properly registered campaign backer (backer name associated with nickname through the appropriate form), who played fairly, could win even if he/she was slightly below the top 10.
To answer your question, we are still working on improving the BGA adaptation and making sure the game goes through a proper ALPHA testing process before releasing it again.
